Our charcoal sticks are all ready to use.

They were :

  1. Washed with clear water, then brushed to remove the remaining ash, soot and dust,

  2. Boiled for 15 minutes,

  3. Air dried in the sun for 5-6 hours.

But, every 2 weeks, you must boil your charcoal for about fifteen minutes, if it is used daily, in order to free it from all the chemical products absorbed.

30g of Binchotan charcoal purifies 1 liter of water in 8 hours.

  1. Fill your container (preferably glass) with tap water,

  2. Place 2 sticks (approximately 50/70 g) in the container,

  3. Put your bottle in the fridge (8 hours per liter and maximum 36 hours),

  4. Filter your water with a paper filter used for coffee, for example,

  5. The water is ready to drink and can even be used for baby's bottle.

Beyond 36 hours in a jar, the water can only be used for your plants, but cannot be drunk.

Charcoal should not be immersed in juices, syrups or infusions: mix the water once filtered with your juices and syrups, or filter the water before boiling it for your infusions.

Any small particles can detach from the charcoal, which is absolutely harmless to your body.

These small particles can be ingested as they have the same properties as charcoal taken to relieve stomach pain.

Even broken, it continues its filtering action.
